The main picking and packing season in Bowen runs through the second half of the year. Once it kicks off, opportunities come through regularly across the farms and packing sheds in the region.
Many guests also find hospitality, cleaning, and general labour work locally once they're on the ground. Having your own transport helps, though ride-sharing between guests is very common.
